Defra Air Quality Grant Application deadline 29 September 2023

Local authorities should now have applications underway. Applications are requested to meet the following:

Lot 1. Projects to reduce air pollutant exceedances (primarily for nitrogen dioxide) especially in areas that are projected to remain in exceedance of the UK’s legislative targets.

Lot 2. Projects that improve knowledge and information about air quality and steps individuals can take to reduce their exposure to air pollution, and/or projects that include measures that deal with particulate matter and understanding PM_2.5.
